Live Wedding Painting

A live wedding painting is more than a painting. It becomes part of your celebration.

I paint your wedding as it happens, while your guests watch the artwork come to life.

By the end of the event, you have an original painting that brings back the people, colours, emotions, and memories of your day.

Original Artwork

Real brushwork on canvas, painted at your venue.

I Bring It to Life

I work with your planner and photographer beforehand so timing, setup, and sightlines stay smooth on the day.

India & Destination

Based in India, serving weddings and destination celebrations PAN India.

What Is Live Wedding Painting?

Live wedding painting is not just an original artwork created during your wedding. It is an emotion captured on canvas. It’s the feeling of your day, painted as it happens – a smile, a forehead kiss, a garland exchange, a quiet glance, or those little moments that become memories for a lifetime.

A photograph captures how something looked, but a painting captures how it felt. A painting that carries the artist’s interpretation, the atmosphere, and all those little details that make that moment uniquely yours.

It’s about turning one meaningful moment into something timeless, personal, and one of a kind – something you can cherish even 100 years from now. Because when you look at that painting years later, you don’t just remember how the moment looked; you remember how it felt.

What Happens on Your Wedding Day?

I usually arrive at the venue two to three hours before the main celebration begins.

I set up my painting space and start by painting the background, including the venue, flowers, décor, and other details.

Once the couple arrives, I take reference photographs of different moments during the wedding. I then choose the moments that work best for the painting.

If you would like to choose, I can show you a few options and you can pick your favourite.

Once the moment is selected, I paint the couple and complete the artwork during the event.

Why Choose a Live Wedding Painting?

You already have photographs and videos, so why add a painting? Because a painting feels different. It is created right there, in the middle of your celebration.

Guests can stop by, watch it grow, and come back later to see how much has changed.

It can also become a beautiful surprise. Sometimes the groom books it for the bride. Sometimes the bride surprises the groom. It can also be a gift from parents, siblings, or friends.

One of my favourite parts is seeing the reaction when the finished painting is revealed.

A painting can also include someone important who could not be there. If a loved one has passed away, we can discuss adding them carefully using a photograph.

The final artwork becomes more than a picture of the wedding. It becomes something personal that you can keep in your home for years.

Which Wedding Moment Should You Choose?

There is no single perfect moment. Every wedding is different.

If you are unsure, I can help you choose the moment that will work best on canvas.

During the event, I take several reference photographs and look for moments that feel natural, happy, and full of emotion. Here are some popular choices.

Varmala

This is one of my most requested moments. The exchange of garlands, laughter, movement, and reactions from family and friends create a painting full of energy.

We Plan the Piece

The sacred fire, warm light, rituals, and family gathered around the couple make this a beautiful and emotional moment to paint.

I Bring It to Life

Sometimes the setting itself becomes an important part of the painting. If you have spent months planning the flowers, colours, and décor, the mandap can create a beautiful background for the couple.

Your Painting Is Ready

Vows can create a calm and elegant painting. The couple, altar, aisle, and quiet emotion of the ceremony all work beautifully together.

Reception Entry

Music, lights, confetti, and the excitement of the entrance can make this a fun and lively painting.

Sunset Portrait

Golden hour is one of my favourite times to paint. It works especially well for outdoor, beach, palace, and destination weddings.

Family Moments

Sometimes the most meaningful moment is not part of the ceremony. It may be your parents watching, your grandparents smiling, or your whole family together.

Pet Painting

Pets are family too. If your pet is at the wedding, they can be included naturally. If they cannot attend, I can use a photograph to add them to the painting.

How Live Wedding Painting Works

01
Tell Me About Your Wedding

Share your wedding date, city, and venue. I will check my availability and get back to you.

02
We Plan Your Painting

We will talk about your venue, décor, timeline, and the moments you would like to remember.

03
Choose the Moment and Canvas Size

We will decide the moment to paint, whether that is your varmala, pheras, vows or another, and choose the right canvas size. Family members and pets can be included.

04
Confirm Your Date

Once everything is decided, I will share the booking details. Your date will be confirmed after the booking amount is received.

05
Final Planning

Before the wedding, I can coordinate with your planner or photographer if needed. This helps me understand the timeline and choose the best place to paint.

06
I Arrive and Set Up

On the wedding day, I arrive before the main moment and set up my painting space. I start by painting the venue, décor, flowers, and background.

07
I Paint During the Celebration

As the wedding unfolds, I take reference photographs and continue painting. Guests can watch the artwork come to life throughout the event.

08
The Final Reveal

By the end of the celebration, the painting is complete. Then comes my favourite part. The final painting is revealed to the couple and family.

Choose Your Canvas Size

I offer three main canvas sizes as a starting point. The final size is agreed once we have talked through your venue and the moment you want painted.

18 × 24 inches

A smaller size that keeps the focus mainly on the couple. The background is simpler so the bride and groom remain the main focus.

24 × 30 inches

A good option if you want the couple along with more of the mandap, stage, flowers, or décor.

24 × 36 inches

A larger canvas for couples who want more of the venue and surroundings included. This size allows space for architecture, greenery, décor, and more background detail.

Destination Wedding Painting

I travel for selected weddings across India and can also discuss international destination weddings.

I have painted and can travel for weddings in cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Indore, Goa, Kerala, Chandigarh, and Udaipur.

From palace weddings in Rajasthan to beach celebrations in Goa and Kerala, every venue brings something different to the painting.

If your wedding is somewhere else, just ask.

Common Questions

How far in advance should we book?

It is best to enquire as soon as your wedding date is confirmed. Six to twelve months in advance is usually comfortable, especially during the busy wedding season from October to February. I take a limited number of weddings, so popular dates can fill early.

Not always. If the date is available and travel can be arranged, I may still be able to paint your wedding. It is always worth asking.

I usually paint for around six to eight hours at the venue. I arrive before the main moment so I can begin the background in advance.

Yes. The painting is completed during the wedding and is ready for the final reveal before the event ends.

That is completely fine. Wedding timings often change. I plan around the actual celebration, not only the printed schedule.

No. I choose my painting spot carefully and can coordinate with your planner and photography team beforehand.

No. Enjoy your wedding. I will take care of the painting.

Yes. That is one of the nicest parts of live wedding painting. Guests often stop by throughout the event to see how the painting is coming along.

I use high quality paint suited to live painting, which lets me work efficiently at the venue and create a finished artwork during the event.

Yes. We can discuss important family members before the wedding.

Yes. If your pet is attending the wedding, I can include them naturally. If not, I can use a clear photograph.

Yes. The painting does not have to include every detail that appears in a photograph. Things like signs, chairs, equipment, or other distractions can be left out.

Yes. You receive the original hand painted artwork.

Yes. A process reel can be created so you can see the painting come to life.

Yes. If your wedding has already taken place, I can create a wedding portrait using your photographs. This would be created as a studio painting rather than a live wedding painting.

Yes. I travel for selected weddings across India and can also discuss international weddings. Travel and stay details are shared based on the location.

Yes. I am happy to coordinate with your wedding planner before the event so the setup and timing are smooth.
